DRIVERS are being warned of road closures as a traditional travelling fair will return to a village.
The annual Wickham Horse Fair will see around 2,000 travellers descend on the village on May 20.
The event is informal and it will see many road closures to allow for pony trap races and a funfair.
The police, councils and other organisations will be working to ensure the historic event takes place with minimum disruption.
The Square will be closed from midday on Tuesday, May 19 until Thursday, May 21. The A334 Winchester Road will be closed between Blind Lane and the A32 from 5am to 8pm on Wednesday, May 20.
The nearside lane of the A32 southbound at Hoads Hill will be used for fair parking.
Any vehicle parked in an unauthorised place will be towed away.
