THE full programme for this year’s Waterlooville Music Festival is now out.

The festival is one of the biggest in the area and nearly all concerts take place at St George’s Church.

From hits of the 1960s, to jazz and folk – there is something for everyone at the week-long event which begins Saturday, June 14.

Organiser Jane Rice-Oxley said; ‘It all starts with a fabulous fun party evening of authentic 1960s music by Out of the Shadows, who are masters at recreating the classic instrumental and vocal sounds of this wonderful era.

‘They will play The Shadows, Cliff Richard, Roy Orbison, and many others. The night will have a cabaret setting with dancing.

‘We are both delighted and privileged to be welcoming the Havant Symphony Orchestra the next day. This gala evening will consist primarily of the string section and the performance will include a selection of baroque, classical and romantic music.’

Other highlights include barbershop, choristers, a ceilidh, and a ukelele group.

The early bird offer will end shortly but the gold passport of eight shows for £32 is available. Go to waterlooville musicfestival.org.uk.
