THE inspirational businesswoman sponsoring The News Woman of the Year Awards has spoken of her pride at being involved.

Rachel Lowe, chief executive of luxury accessories brand She Who Dares, was awarded the MBE in the 2009 Birthday Honours list for services to business in promoting enterprise in schools, colleges and universities.

She Who Dares is sponsoring the awards for the second year.

Rachel said: ‘I’m delighted to be involved – it’s an honour.

‘It’s special for us because it embraces everything that She Who Dares is about.

‘The awards celebrate women and all the amazing things that they achieve.

‘Last year’s ceremony was certainly a night to remember.

‘It was very emotional, very humbling and very inspiring.’
