THESE lovely mermaids were just a few of the huge cast in the spectacular Peter’s Panic pantomime.
The Young Stars drama school, in Cowplain, had a three-day run of the panto which raised £1,600 in aid of the charity Hannah’s Holiday Home.
The play was written by Sue Stokes, who runs the drama group, and featured an all-star cast of characters from nursery rhymes and fairy tales.
There were only three adults in the cast which was mostly made up of five to 18-year-olds who gave up their February half-term to rehearse and perform daily for the show, at Cowplain Social Club.
Pam Westbrook, who runs the charity, said: ‘It was fantastic.
‘All the performers were stars and the audience was packed every night.
‘They were brilliant.’
