A PHOTOGRAPHER who took pictures of Sir David Frost on a visit to Portsmouth has paid tribute to the esteemed broadcaster.
Sir David died on Saturday from a heart attack at the age of 74.
He had been giving a speech on the Queen Elizabeth cruise ship.
Innes Marlow, 50, photographed Sir David in front of HMS Warrior in Portsmouth in 2005.
He was in the city as chairman of a consortium seeking an FM radio franchise.
Mr Marlow from Fareham, said: ‘I was fortunate enough to photograph him several times doing various things.
‘He was a really nice guy and always very professional to work with.
‘He was a great journalist and he had the respect of journalists and broadcasters around the world.
‘I’ve never heard anybody say a bad word against him.’
