PICTURES: Marwell Zoo animals enjoy fun and frolics in the snow

Home to more than 140 species, animals at the much-loved attraction near Winchester have united in making the most of the extreme weather.

Snow leopards, meerkats, otters and tigers – among other creatures – have all come out to play, much to the amusement of visitors.

Met Office forecasts suggest the fun will likely continue, with snow expected in Winchester this evening and tomorrow.

Closer to home, the service predicts grey skies and likely snow and rain throughout the day.
