PLACES are still available for an over-60s event.

There is a chance to try something fun and different at Portsmouth City Council’s 60+ Festival, which started on October 6.

Anyone who fancies hula-hooping, an acting workshop, bowling or mosaic-making can still book their place for free.

Other activities up for grabs are a tour of Portsmouth’s Anglican cathedral, a talk on the New Theatre Royal, a tour of Groundlings Theatre or a health check. The festival ends on October 17.

To book a place, call (023) 9283 4698.
