PLAY rangers in Fareham will continue to entertain youngsters over the school holidays.

The themed activities for five to 12-year-olds are organised by Fareham Borough Council in partnership with Y Services for Young People.

Today, activities take place from 10am until 12pm at Bellfield Play Area in Titchfield with a pirates and fairies theme.

Councillor Connie Hockley, member for leisure and community, said: ‘One of the highlights so far has been the involvement of coaches from Forton Footy Project, the children have been thrilled to receive feedback and tips to improve their game.

‘The sessions are free and no booking is necessary so whether children want to play for half-an-hour or two, they can arrive at any time during a session and start taking part.’
