Plenty going on at pub for leisure park fun day

A PUB on a caravan site is holding a family fun day to raise cash for two good causes.

Tomorrow, at Nelson’s Bar, Southsea Leisure Park, in Eastney, the day will be split in two.

From midday until 5pm there will be family activities, with a children’s disco, Disney mascots and electric pony rides. In the evening there will be live music with headlines acts, Nothing in Advance and Lily Garland.

There will also be a raffle with prizes donated by Portsmouth Football Club, Krazy Kaves and many more local businesses.

Organiser Alex Anton said: ‘As a company we believe in giving back and we have set ourselves a target of £5,000 for the Tom Prince Cancer Trust and the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity over the next 12 months. This will be a great start, with the hope of raising £1,500 from the event.’

All are welcome at the event. Southsea Leisure Park has recently been taken over by new owners and is about to undergo a £25,000 facelift.
