Police appeal after 21-year-old man dies in car accident

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a fatal car accident.

It comes after a pedestrian died following a collision on the A33 at Kings Worthy, near Winchester, yesterday.

A 21-year-old man from Cheriton and a white Ford Kuga were involved in the collision at 5.28pm.

The man was taken to Southampton General Hospital but died from his injuries today.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.

The driver, a 45-year-old man from Chandler’s Ford, was uninjured.
