POLICE and crime commissioner, Michael Lane, will be challenging the Hampshire chief constable on priorities and asking question that concern the public during a live online recording.

The COMPASS (Commissioner’s Performance, Accountability, Scrutiny and Strategy) meeting on September 20 will show a live question and answer session.

Mr Lane is also inviting residents to submit questions for him to put to the chief constable.

Michael Lane said: I will put your questions to the chief constable so they can provide reassurance that police resources are being used as effectively and efficiently as possible, recognising issues on people’s minds. The recording will show how I hold the commission to account.’
