WITNESSES are being urged to come forward after a 14-year-old girl was assaulted on a footpath.

The incident happened off Frendstaple Road, Waterlooville, around 7.30pm on Saturday.

Officers are still taking details and working out the exact circumstances behind the incident.

The girl did not sustain any injuries.
