Police have released an e-fit of a man who injured a student who tried to offer him help.

The 21-year-old man was wounded in the stomach - police believe a sharp weapon was used - when he went to the aid of another man, apparently in distress, in Graylingwell Drive, in Chichester, on Tuesday, December 14,

The victim, from Chichester, has since made a good recovery.

The suspect is described as white, 6ft, of lean build, with a thin face and full lips. He was wearing a thigh-length textile jacket, buttoned up and tight-fitting with the collar up, and dark coloured jeans. He was also wearing a black baseball cap.
