Police have renewed their appeal to drivers who witnessed the death of a mother on the M27 to contact them.

They say that several motorists drove past the body of Lucy Page in the moments after she fell from a bridge near Junction 11 at Fareham.

Lucy Page, 32, had been on Down End Road Bridge on Tuesday before falling to her death.

She was declared dead at the scene in the westbound carriageway. Her death is not being treated as suspicious.

Tributes have been paid to her by her partner Jon Cunningham

A Hampshire Police spokesman said: ‘We are renewing the appeal in order to piece together the exact circumstances of this incident.

‘It’s believed a number of other motorists drove around the incident without stopping.

‘We are appealing to those people to make contact with us as they may be important witnesses to what happened.’
