DISCOUNT supermarket Aldi will be expanding its parking provision after a council agreed to sell it a car park.

Councillors at Fareham Borough Council agreed to sell off the Gillies car park to Aldi, which will be expanding its existing car park which adjoins the site.

Council figures show that the long-stay car park, in West Street, is the least-used car park in Fareham.

It is not known how much Aldi has agreed to pay.
