A HOUSEHOLDER has been given permission to retain an extension despite objections.

The two-storey rear extension and single-storey rear extension plans were approved at a Gosport Borough Council regulatory board meeting this month.

Five people had objected to the plans at 159 Elson Road, in Gosport.

Objectors had wanted councillors to visit the site over fears the extension was not safe and that it was affecting neighbouring properties.
