Armed forces career event in Portsmouth cancelled
A CAREER event in Portsmouth for people thinking of leaving the armed forces has been cancelled.
Portsmouth City Council had been due to hold the event this evening at the Dennis Sciama Building but it has now been postponed.
The event, on Burnaby Road from 5pm, was going to have a range of career ideas for veterans thinking of moving on from their current jobs but a new date will be organised.
The council will announce the new event details in the future.
