COUNCIL tax could be frozen for a fifth year by a county council.

The performance and finance select committee has rubber-stamped the proposals for the 2015/16 budget at West Sussex County Council.

Also included in the plan is a cash injection of almost £140m in roads, adults’ services and schools.

The budget will be considered by the cabinet next week and the final decision will be taken at full council on February 13.
