EIGHT Portsmouth bus services, run by First, are to be cut from May 15. Services 1, 1C, 3, 5A, 6, 12, 40 and 41, all run by First, will be affected.

The 1, between Paulsgrove and Portsmouth city centre, will finish from Commercial Road, Portsmouth, at 9.55pm Monday to Friday, 8.26pm Sundays, and from Paulsgrove at 8.24pm, and 8.15pm on Sundays.

The last 1C, between Paulsgrove and Eastney, will run from Commercial Road at 8.56pm, 8.39pm on Sundays, and 8.50pm, 8.52pm on Sundays, from Paulsgrove.

The 3, from Paulsgrove to Southsea via Fratton, will end at 8pm from Paulsgrove, and 9.15pm from South Parade Pier, on Sundays and bank holidays. Fareham to Southsea service 5A will finish from Fareham at 9.19pm on Fridays and Saturdays, 8.19pm Sundays, and from Southsea at 10.45pm, Fridays and Saturdays, 8.45pm Sundays.

The last 6, between Tipner and The Hard, will leave Tipner at 8.20pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays. The last bus from The Hard will leave at 9.05pm. Service 12, between Farlington, Drayton, Cosham, Northarbour and Port Solent, will finish with the 5.57pm from Cosham, and the 6.13pm from Port Solent, Monday to Saturday.

Service 40, from Wecock Farm to Southsea, will finish from Hilsea Lido to Wecock Farmat 11.58pm, Friday and Saturday.

The 41, from Portsmouth city centre to Clanfield, will finish at 11pm Friday and Saturday, from The Hard.
