Crime commissioner appeals for extra council tax cash to cover Hampshire police’s £10m shortfall

POLITICAL party the Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition will be standing a candidate for election in Portsmouth South.

Sean Hoyle will contest the seat for the party.

The coalition, which is opposed to austerity cuts, will contest both parliamentary seats and all 14 council seats.

Mr Hoyle will run against Steve Harris for Ukip, Flick Drummond for the Conservatives, Sue Castillon for Labour, Gerald Vernon-Jackson for the Lib Dems, Ian McCulloch for the Green party and Don Jerrard for the The Justice & Anti-Corruption Party.
