A CITY MP led a parliamentary committee hearing on modern slavery.

Labour MP for Portsmouth South, Stephen Morgan, yesterday spearheaded a meeting of the Public Accounts Committee alongside party peer for Don Valley, Caroline Flint.

In a tweet published after the fixture, Mr Morgan said: ‘Whilst there’s lots to praise, there is more progress to be made including with identifying and supporting victims.’
