NATIONAL: Labour vows to settle ‘vast majority’ of anti-semitism cases by July

A HUGE rise in young people taking up apprenticeships has been reported in the south of Portsmouth.

New figures indicate that the area saw 970 start in the past year, which is an increase of 246 per cent since the coalition government came to power.

Portsmouth South MP Mike Hancock said: ‘The record rise in learners taking them up last year is great news for Portsmouth and the economy.’
