HOUSING plans for Clanfield, Rowlands Castle and Horndean will be discussed at a public meeting.

The Joint Core Strategy, drawn up between East Hampshire District Council and the South Downs National Park, has set the numbers of homes to be built in the district.

The next stage – the Housing Allocations Plan – will determine the sites where these homes will be built.

A community forum will be held at Merchistoun Hall, Horndean, on Tuesday, April 8 from 6.30pm.

Councillor Ken Carter, who oversees communities at East Hampshire, said: ‘We really want members of the public to express their views and this is a chance to find out what the latest situation is and what’s coming next.’
