ENJOY eyeing up some stunning vehicles in the mayor of Havant’s classic car run.

Councillor Marjorie Smallcorn will wave off hundreds of cars, motorbikes and commercial vehicles from the Public Service Plaza, Havant, at 10am on Sunday.

They will wind their way through the countryside before arriving at Fort Purbrook at midday for an afternoon of musical entertainment from the Stokes Bay Strummers Ukulele Group.

Cllr Smallcorn said: ‘This annual event is always extremely popular, not only with vehicle owners but also with enthusiasts who enjoy looking at the classic vehicles once they have completed the run out.

‘Last year more than 160 vehicles participated and we look forward to viewing this year’s entries as some vehicles are quite rare and unique.

‘The event is free, however a donation to the mayor’s Charity Appeal is very much appreciated.’
