PEOPLE on Hayling Island are being encouraged to have their say on what matters most to them.
Residents at Hayling Island Community Network have devised a questionnaire that aims to find out what the important issues are to islanders. The information will be used to draw up a Community Plan, which residents hope will steer how money is invested by authorities into the island.
Issues highlighted in the short questionnaire include parking, the state of roads, and maintenance of verges and ditches.
Paul Fisher, chairman of Hayling Island Residents’ Association, said: ‘The objective is to draw together all aspects of the community to improve quality of life and fuel investment.’
