RESIDENTS are concerned they may lose privacy if new flats are built in the place of a sailing club.

Alison Roast, from Lee Residents, argues that new balconies on the flats, to be built in the place of Lee-on-the-Solent Sailing Club, in Marine Parade East, will overlook balconies nearby.

She said she had spoken to residents at next door Seaview Court and they are concerned about the plans.

Ms Roast said: ‘The residents have objections to that as they feel its encroaching on their privacy.’

The plans include a small building which will be for the club.
