Consultation launched on changes to adult social care support

A CONSULTATION on cost-saving proposals regarding changes to how Hampshire residents pay for their adult social care support was launched yesterday.

Hampshire County Council proposes four changes to the current system.

These include charging people for both carers if they require two and to charge residents in council-run residential and nursing homes for any periods of absence.

The consultation lasts until Friday, August 26 and can be accessed online at hants.gov.uk/pfc-consultation.
