PEOPLE can have their say on a council’s local plan during a six-week consultation.
Discussion over Winchester’s Local Plan Part 2, which sets aside sites for development, starts on Friday and runs until midday on Monday, December 21.
The city council covers parts of Whiteley and from Bishop’s Waltham across to Denmead.
Cllr Mike Read, the council’s portfolio holder for the built environment, said: ‘This is a critical stage during the plan preparation process.
‘Those wishing to make comments are advised to read the background information on the website before making representations.’
This stage of consultation focuses on the matters of ‘soundness’.
