COUNCIL offices are to be shared in a bid to boost council coffers.

Fareham Borough Council has agreed to let the fifth floor of its Civic Offices to Public Health England.

As reported, this move will generate £700,000 for the council over the five-year lease.
Council leader Sean Woodward gave his approval to the plan at his latest executive meeting.

Police are also in discussions to move the Safer Neighbourhoods Team into the Civic Offices, when the police station in Fareham closes next year.
