CHANGES are being made to Winchester City Council’s senior management structure.

The authority, which covers Whiteley, Denmead and Bishop’s Waltham, will cut one post from its corporate management team, with some areas of work being organised differently.

Deputy leader Cllr Vicki Weston said: ‘These changes will help make the council more efficient, and save us up to £100,000 a year.

‘They also make us better able to tackle the many complex challenges we face.’
