A MEETING by Portsmouth City Council will decide whether four new cameras will monitor bus lanes.

At the traffic and transportation meeting, next Wednesday at Portsmouth Guildhall, a decision will be made whether to install the cameras which will cost £25,000 – £107,000 in total with installation fees.

Funded from the On Street revenue budget, the cameras will ensure bus lanes are kept free and can monitor any maintenance work that might be needed.
