Fareham MP to hold public meetings across town

WITH her first year as an MP drawing to an end, Suella Fernandes is looking forward to the future.

The Fareham MP is marking the first anniversary of her election by launching a series of meetings for residents across the area.

Since being elected Miss Fernandes has held regular advice surgeries for residents to discuss problems, along with dozens of visits to schools, charities and businesses.

She said: ‘I can’t believe it’s already a year since I had the honour of being elected as an MP. Fareham is a wonderful place, and I’ve enjoyed spending time every week getting to know people.

‘The new meetings I will be holding are a more public way for residents to come and meet me, ask questions and tell me their views about the issues that matter to them.’

The first meeting will take place at the Victory Hall in Warsash on May 13 at 7pm and all residents are invited.

Future events will be held around the constituency, and will be advertised nearer the time.
