Fareham MP invites residents to join her for a coffee and a chat

RESIDENTS will be able to have a coffee and a chat with an MP next week.

Suella Fernandes, Fareham MP, is hosting the morning at the Titchfield Community Centre’s Haven Lodge, in Mill Street, Titchfield.

Differing from her surgeries, the day will give people a chance to talk with the MP about specific government policies or about the work of the government generally.

She said: ‘Since I became MP for Fareham I have noticed there is a real appetite amongst local people to talk about government policy. So my coffee and chat sessions are really a response to this.

People in Fareham care about what is happening in Westminster, and how it affects their communities. It is my role to represent the wider community of Fareham, which means hearing your thoughts.

‘These events are different to my community surgeries and they are only focused on Government policy. Anyone is welcome to join me for coffee, cake and a chat about policy, and I would urge people to come along.’

The drop-in will be taking place on Friday, March 17, from 11am to 12.30pm.

There is no need to book in advance.
