AN AUCTION will raise cash for the mayor of Gosport’s chosen charities.

The event on Saturday, October 5, will have plenty of lots for sale, including a flying lesson, a tour of Solent Coastguard and a bottle of House of Commons whisky signed by former prime minister Gordon Brown.

Other lots include a meal for two at the Anglesey Hotel and a meal for two at Hardy’s restaurant.

All cash is going to Motiv8, Connect Advocacy and Learning to Sail – Lee.

The auction starts at 7pm at Lee-on-the-Solent Community Centre, in Twford Drive, Lee-on-the-Solent.
