GOSPORT MP Caroline Dinenage has been named as minister for equalities in David Cameron’s reshuffle.

The appointment was tweeted by the prime minister which said Ms Dinenage will be the parliamentary under secretary of state at the Ministry of Justice as well as minister for equalities in the Department of Education.

The announcement comes the day after Portsmouth North MP Penny Mordaunt was named as the Armed Forces minister at the Ministry of Defence.
