A MEETING was held to discuss ongoing flood problems in Stubbington.

Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage chaired the meeting to talk about how to tackle the flooding problem at Newton Close, Morgan Drive and Discovery Close in Stubbington.

Ms Dinenage called the meeting with all agencies involved in order to seek a solution to a problem which has plagued residents for more than a year.

Fareham Borough Council, Hampshire County Council, the Environment Agency and Southern Water were all represented at the meeting.

Ms Dinenage said: ‘Flooding is hugely distressing for all those affected which is why I was so keen to bring the relevant agencies together in one room to discuss what can be done to halt the existing problem.’
