A CLAY pigeon club got a visit from an MP who had a go on the range.

Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage visited Gosport and Fareham Sporting Clay Club and took part in a clay pigeon shoot.

The club, in Lee-on-the-Solent, is a small clay target shooting club that meets every two weeks.

It has been established for over 50 years and has many members.

Ms Dinenage said: ‘I was delighted to attend a shoot with the club.

‘Although I wasn’t much of a hot-shot myself it was interesting to find out about the club and the competitions that they take part in.

‘It was great to meet the members and experience the leisure activity which they enjoy so much.’
