PEOPLE will be able to vote Green in the next election as the party has announced it will be standing candidates in Fareham, Portsmouth North and Portsmouth South.

Portsmouth Greens co-ordinator Ian McCulloch said: ‘This will be the first election since people have had a chance to see Greens in action in Westminster, with Caroline Lucas in the Commons and Baroness Jones in the Lords.’

He said there had been a surge in applications to join the party this year, with strong growth in Southsea.
