Hampshire Highways teams have been working over the past few weeks to re-lay some of the busiest roads to help reduce potholes forming over winter.

Councillor Rob Humby, executive member for transport at Hampshire County Council, said: '˜The highways teams have made the most of the hot, dry summer to complete more than 300 surface dressing schemes.

'˜We use the latest range of road treatment techniques, including surface dressing and micro asphalts.

'˜These techniques allow us to make the most of our resources and represent excellent value for money.'
