HUNDREDS of miles of roads have been renewed over the summer.
Hampshire Highways teams have been working over the past few weeks to re-lay some of the busiest roads to help reduce potholes forming over winter.
Councillor Rob Humby, executive member for transport at Hampshire County Council, said: ‘The highways teams have made the most of the hot, dry summer to complete more than 300 surface dressing schemes.
‘We use the latest range of road treatment techniques, including surface dressing and micro asphalts.
‘These techniques allow us to make the most of our resources and represent excellent value for money.’
