Have your say

PEOPLE will have the chance today to see plans for a possible new games area and have their say on them.

Fareham Borough Council is inviting people to come along to Portchester Community Centre at Westlands Grove from 2pm to 9pm.

The games area would go next door on the site of the former Portchester Community Centre.

Residents can see projected images of how changes to the area could look and talk through the proposals with council officers.

Cllr Connie Hockley, who is in charge of leisure matters, said: ‘The information people provide us with will be invaluable in helping us identify the needs of local residents.

‘We will look at the responses to find out if residents want a multi-use games area, or if they would prefer to have the whole area landscaped.’

The consultation on the scheme runs until Friday, June 21.
