Have your say on what should be in Fareham's play parks

RESIDENTS are being asked to have their say on what extra equipment should be installed in three play parks across Fareham.

They are being asked to choose three favourite pieces of equipment and tell Fareham Borough Council what could be added to improve each park. Choices include multi-climbing units, floor graphics, see-saws and an inclusive roundabout suitable for wheelchair users.

The three play areas that will be receiving a complete refurbishment are: Priory Park in Locks Heath; Fareham North Play Park in Henry Cort Drive; and Drake Close Play Park in Locks Heath.

Executive member for leisure and community Sue Bell said: ‘Following on from the successful outcomes of other play area consultations, I urge residents and play area users to get involved and have their say.’

The most popular pieces of play equipment chosen will be installed in the summer.

The consultation closes on February 22. Go to fareham.gov.uk/consultations to take part.
