GOSPORT’S Citizens’ Advice Bureau is trying to recruit new volunteers for its free help and advice services.

The recession has stretched the charity’s resources and it is urgently seeking people to make sure all its services can continue to operate at their current level.

Manager Paul Simmonds said: ‘We’re looking for volunteer trustees with business development, planning and finance skills.

‘We’d also welcome applications from anyone who has minute secretary, IT administrator, event and public relations experience, and can spare a few hours a month.’ Apply at the bureau, by calling (023) 9260 4601, or by emailing
