PORTSMOUTH North MP Penny Mordaunt and Holocaust survivor Sabina Miller joined forces to launch a new theme for this year’s Holocaust Memorial Day.

The theme, Communities Together Build a Bridge, aims to encourage groups and individuals to come together and think about how neighbours can help each other. It is also a challenge to build stronger and more tolerant communities. Activities will be held in schools following the theme.

Penny said: ‘I’m pleased our schools are doing more each year to participate in Holocaust Memorial Day. We must never forgot, and continue to learn so that we can swiftly tackle such atrocities when they occur in the world today.’
