Linda Bonnin, head of land at Vivid said: ‘We’re really excited to be involved in the development of this historic site, where we’ll be delivering 110 new-build apartments for social rent and also 73 shared ownership homes.

‘This event is a great opportunity for local people to come along and learn a bit about the history of the site, see our plans for the new development and ask any questions that they may have.’

The exhibition will just cover the homes being built by Vivid, as an additional 76 homes will be provided by City and Country Construction Limited on the site.

Work by City and Country started in January as they opened up the boundary walls along St Mary’s and Milton Road.

The event will take place between 4pm and 7pm at St Mary’s Community Centre in St Mary’s Road.
