A MONTH-long public consultation to decide how many homes should be built in the Chichester area has begun.

Chichester District Council wants people to have their say on how many homes are needed and where they should be built over the next 20 years.

Proposals include between 305 and 415 homes a year in the south of the Chichester district.

Other options include focusing development on the city centre. The consultation goes on until September 23. More information can be found at
