THE Liberal Democrats have represented Stubbington for 35 years – and Councillor Jim Forrest hopes the residents will vote him in once again in the May elections.

Cllr Forrest has been a councillor for more than 10 years and hopes the work he has done will win him votes.

He said: ‘I’m up against some strong competition but Stubbington has been a Liberal Democrat ward for the last 35 years.

‘During that time, we have done a lot for the local people and I hope the electors recognise that.’

Conservative councillor Pamela Bryant hopes to get re-elected in the Fareham North ward.

She said: ‘I know the Fareham North ward very well having lived here and served as councillor for a number of years.’
