PIMMS and strawberries will be served up with the renowned journalist Damian Barr when he discusses his new book.
Blackwell’s, in Cambridge Road, Southsea, will host for the event, as part of Portsmouth Festival of Thought.
Mr Barr will discuss Maggie and Me, his memoir of growing up in a former coal-mining village in Scotland.
He was taught to hate Thatcher but, following her advice, he worked hard, planned his escape and says he was ultimately freed by Thatcherism.
It takes place tonight at 7pm.
