FUN times are in store for children as a village playground is being revamped.

East Hampshire District Council awarded £5,000 towards the refurbishment in East Meon.

The outdated equipment is being replaced and the playground resurfaced.

Councillor Nick Drew, who is in charge of communities at East Hampshire, said: ‘This is a great facility, near the centre of the village, that is used by lots of children throughout East Meon. It’s the right time to upgrade the equipment.’
