PEOPLE will be able to have their blood pressure tested and find out more about preventing strokes at an awareness day held by the Mayor and Mayoress of Havant.

Councillor Paul Buckley has chosen the Stroke Association as one of his dedicated charities during his Mayoral year.

The Stroke Community and Awareness Day will be held at The Plaza, in Civic Centre Road, Havant, on Friday from 10am to 3pm.

Stroke clubs, stroke survivors, carers, families and local residents are all welcome.
